Obeagu is a multi-disciplinary artist, currently working in painting, photography, installation art and poetry. He is known as an untiring experimentalist in his work, which is often inspired by concepts of dualism, using mixed media and a range of techniques to create unique tactile pictorial surfaces. He has exhibited all over the world, and won the Nigerian National Art Competition in 2011 for his collaboration with Uche Uzorka.
