A graduate in fine art from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Akinwolere works with a wide range of media including antique ink and found objects as well as oil and acrylic. He has developed a visual language in four dimensions that he calls ADIITU, rooted in the Yoruba mythology of spirituality and the supernatural. His work has been exhibited in the National Art Gallery in Lagos, where he was also Artist in Residence.
